Without the strap, the worker will eventually faint as blood begins to pool in the lower body and the harness webbing around the legs gradually cuts off blood flow from the Femoral Artery. Consisting of a web bridle with foot stirrups and adjuster, the "Leg Up Suspension Trauma Strap "provides suspension relief immediately after the fall. The strap comes in a pouch that easily attaches to any full body harness. During the fall arrest, it partially deploys so a user can place their feet in the stirrups, and sit or stand in a position that maintains blood flow throughout the body. In the seated position, the user can adjust the leg straps to achieve a more comfortable position.
